A two – year full time programme, spread over six trimesters and leading to the degree in Master of Business Administration. The most notable features of the programme are its flexibility and objectives of providing a genuinely broad based education. Annual Seminar, CEO series of guest lectures, business simulation games, personal growth lab, psychological profiling, personality development workshops (MBTI), create all round development for students. Final year students have a variety of specializations to choose from, depending on their aptitude and preferences they can choose non – credit courses and cross – disciplinary free choice subjects, to suit their individual preferences.
NMIMS currently has overseas links with the University of EUROMED Marseille in France, ESC ROUEN in France and with ESSCA at both its campuses, i.e. Angers in France and Budapest in Hungary. The exchange covers faculty members as well as students from these places.

School of Business Management at NMIMS offers a Full time 2 Year MBA Program in Human Resources. This program has as its primary objective the development of critical skills, knowledge and a holistic sensitive HR Professional who is at ease with both core business and people related challenges.
Features of the Programme
Full time two years comprising Forty-three credit courses across six trimesters & twelve compulsory non- credit Value Added Workshops. The program includes summer internship for 8-10 weeks in which students undergo full time intensive training with industry under the guidance of a project guide and a faculty guide. Dissertation & field based Consulting assignments in the domain of Human Resources from a wide spectrum of organizations. Benefit in the form of curriculum alignment & industry interface from the partnership with SHRM.
Using a mix of experiential techniques and case-based methodology, the future HR managers would be trained on devising HR solutions for the business challenges that corporates face today.
This two year, full time MBA course is a domain specific course which concentrates on preparing the students to enter the pharma sector. After graduation students join the pharmaceuticals industry, some also join consultancy companies. Some of our graduates are working in international assignments in Brazil, Singapore and Basle.
This programme is six-years old. MBA, Pharmaceutical Management is received well by the industry.
Listening to Stakeholders
Listening to stakeholders is a very important course that ensures that every student spends one-full day every week in the field gathering information and another half day per week is spent in analytics. The main focus of this course is to prepare students so that they may join the pharmaceutical industry as a Management Trainee on graduation and compete with the best and the brightest in any institute of management. This is arguably one of the most rigorous MBA courses in our country. The main differentiator in this course is to have industry and academics work closely in both selecting candidates.
We place all students with pharma companies and/or consultancy firms for two months in summer. Based on industry evaluation of the student, each student is further “guided” and “counseled” to improve his / her key strengths. This is based on what “feedback” the industry and consultancy companies provide to us.
