IMT Ghaziabad

Established in 1980, Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad (IMTG) is India’s premier AACSB accredited management school with a distinct focus on grooming leadership through Innovation, Execution and Social Responsibility. An autonomous, not–for–profit institute, offering highly sought after postgraduate programmes over the past more than three–and–a–half decades, IMTG currently offers four AICTE approved programmes – Two year Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), PGDM Executive, PGDM Part Time, and PGDM Dual Country Programme (DCP). While the first three programmes are offered at the IMTG campus in Ghaziabad, Delhi NCR, India, the PGDM DCP is offered in collaboration with the IMT Dubai campus. The Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) is the latest addition to the list which leads to PGDM Part Time.

Study Program

Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)

Two-year full-time AICTE approved and AACSB accredited residential programme in Business Management which is equivalent to an MBA.

A comprehensive review of the PGDM programme architecture and curriculum was completed in August 2016 under the leadership of Professor Srikant Datar, Associate Dean of Harvard Business School and the author of ‘Rethinking The MBA’, resulting in several innovative additions to the curriculum which will not only enhance the value proposition IMTG offers to its students and the community but also enrich campus life.

Facilities at Campus

Academic Block

Established in the year 1980, IMT Ghaziabad’s 14 acre fully residential campus has emerged as a one of its kind conventional B-School of India. Designed by a renowned Italian Architect, IMT Ghaziabad has a State-of-art infrastructure. The iconic academic building has a design that creates swirls, that whirls and channelizes positive energy throughout, defining the importance of Open space at IMT Ghaziabad. The newly constructed blocks have centralised air-conditioned classrooms with in-built projector and screen facilities. The infrastructure also includes a state-of-the-art auditorium with a capacity of 700 students.

Apart from this, the infrastructure includes student hostels, mess, canteen and coffee stall (which runs 24x7), guest house, and parking area. The two-floor library with its extensive collection of books on every subject is up to date with the most recent publications of magazines and journals. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled to ensure connectivity.

The campus has various sports facilities as well – football and cricket ground, floodlit basketball court, badminton and volleyball court, multi purpose gymnasium with table tennis table which keep the students engaged. The amphitheatre at the heart of the campus is another major highlight of the campus.

IT Infrastructure

IMT Ghaziabad’s intranet uses advanced fibre optic cables. It gives a wealth of information via connectivity of 100 Mbps to the entire campus including the hostel blocks. Wi-Fi enabled, all areas of the campus enjoy the internet irrespective of where you are – in your hostel or the academic block, doing research in the library or sitting in the Computer lab, which is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and is available 24 hours six days a week. On Sundays, the Computer Centre is open until 5.30 pm.

Students run several of the Intranet sites that provide access to software, music, movies and study aids. These are apart from the sites run by the IT dept.

Housing

IMT Ghaziabad is a fully residential campus with ten student-housing blocks. A separate block houses MDP participants. Students can opt for rooms that offer single or double occupancy. Facilities include wi-fi access, laundry service and cleaning facility. The IMT mess, next to student residences is open every day and provides four meals.

Students dining here can enjoy a little entertainment-thanks to the LCD TVs provided specifically for this purpose. Those who get hungry in between can avail of the eats and drinks available at reasonable rates in the canteen which is open seven days a week.

Recreation

Other outdoor games you can play on campus are Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Badminton and Basketball. Those who prefer getting their recreation in controlled indoor environs can indulge in games like table tennis, carom and chess. Free to move as they please, students are often seen simply chilling at the amphitheatre. It is a favourite spot for many students who come here to unwind or for some peace while they concentrate on their studies.

While studies and academics are in focus, the mind needs to unwind. For that, student committees like the ‘Cultural Committee’ and ‘Sports Committee’ organise myriad events through the year.

Financial Aid Availability

IMT has tie-ups with Indian Bank; CREDILA, an HDFC Ltd. Company; and Punjab National Bank (PNB) for availing education loan by candidates who get an admission offer from IMT. Candidates can avail the facility at a competitive rate of interest subject to the terms and conditions of the banks.

Merit Based Scholarships

For international applicants of PGDM Executive, the scholarship of USD 2000 will be offered on Academic Fee to the candidates who meet the following criteria:
